I agree 100% with all that you have said. I donated go McCain/Palin and got a nice little email back from their campaign thanking me and asking for more. Bla..bla....bla. I tossed back & forth about giving directly to Palin instead of the Republican Party but decided the election was the important thing right now. Hind sight, I wish I had given to her. After the election I received another thank you email and ask me to continue support of the Rep Party. I removed myself from their email list and told them why. So, I have heard others talk about a Conservative Party and I wonder if it would succeed. If it did, it would have to start right away and build up momentum before the next elections. In 2010 we need to work on replacing Senate and Congressional Congressional seats in our Federal and State positions where ever we can. We also need to cross over state lines with our support monetarily and physically volunteering in these election races. Lets all get busy and find ways to be effective in getting our country back on its feet in the right direction.
Thanks for all the research and work you do. I appreciate it.
I've often thought about doing such an ad, or a series of ads. Problem is, there is such little time left and I honestly don't think the McCain Camp is capable of see past their own noses.
Had they been, they would have heeded the words of Dick Morris, Karl Rove and so many others that laid out a clear strategy for a total and complete Obama defeat.
Missed opportunity after missed opportunity was given a slim measure of hope because of Joe the Plumber and nothing else. This election was over before Joe... but I still don't see McCain taking the fight to Obama as he should.
McCain has the ammunition locked and loaded but can't seem to bring himself to take the shot.
I cannot understand why except that his handlers obviously won't let him.
And that's why I think your ideas, however clever and insightful, will ultimately fall on deaf ears.
The only reason why Joe had the opportunity, is because Obama gave it to him. McCain had nothing to do with it.
What would happen if we sent in our own ads about who we were going to vote for and why, like they do on "American's Funniest Video's" and let the McCann Campaign choose which ones to publish in their TV ads. Joe the Plumber seemed to hit it off real well. Just a thought.
