Plane Crash Lands in the Hudson River

Major Kudos to a Veteran Pilot that had to crash land a jumbo jet after his engines ate a bunch of geese. His decision to splash down in the Hudson River pays off with the saved lives of everyone on board. This guy's a hero. The Crew are all Heroes.

Well done.

The plane bobbed happily in the frigid waters of the Hudson while Fire boats ferried shaken (but not stirred) passengers off the wings of the buoyant behemoth. One witness said : "Looking out the window of my sister-in-law's house, it was coming low, too low, and, all of a sudden, it just hit the water. And just started dialing 911 like crazy."

I can imagine the feelings of those New Yorkers staring at yet another passenger plane swooping in below the eye level of most down town buildings... "Not Again".

Luckily, It was just a flock of suicidal birds not a bunch of suicidal terrorists.
