Apparently, not all my posts are being met with approval. Some of you, thank you, are forwarding my notes to you on to what appears to be many, many others. As such, I've been getting a few negative emails and feedback. For example, a bit ago I laid out the truth about Obama's proposals (via Email - Secretary Paulson and The Future of an Obamanation - Oct, 10, 08) to which I just received the following reply:

"My tax bracket wont be touched by the plans of either candidate. I am dirt ass poor, but make too much money to qualify for many of the social programs offered by the govt. We are barely getting by, but we are getting by.

I am supporting Obama for other reasons. ~ G.D."

My reply to G.D.:

Ahh... so you think this election is about YOU.

First off, it's sad that you are satisfied with being "dirt ass poor" and don't see yourself ever bringing yourself up to a better place economically.

However, you are EXACTLY the voter Obama's economic plan is written for, because if you ever really read it, you would see that his many takes "cuts" are really tax "credits"... two very different things. You must pay this, to deduct that and as you earn more, your credits are reduced. Read it for yourself.

The short of it is, the more you make (still FAR LESS than the proverbial "rich" making more than $250K per year) the more you are taxed under Obama's plan. And it is not only income phased, it is time phased increasing our National Debt well over a Trillion Dollars during his term.

Now, even if you think you are insulated from Obama taxing you directly, you will still feel the effects of EVERY successful business in this Country.

The store you buy your groceries from earns more than $250K
The farmer that grows your veggies earns more than $250K
The Dairy farmer providing your milk earns more than $250K
The trucking company that bring the food to the store earns more than $250K
The station you buy your gas from earns more than $250K
The company you buy your insurance from earns more than $250K
The doctor you and your family goes to earns more than $250K
The guy you buy your tires from earns more than $250K
The shop that works on your car earns more than $250K
The dealership you buy your car(s) from earns more than $250K
The electric company that powers your home earns more than $250K
The water company you buy from earns more than $250K
The Garbage company that picks up your trash earns more than $250K
The hardware store you lean on to keep your home running earns more than $250K
The Fast Food quicky bite you frequent earns more than $250K
The clothes you wear, the hygiene products you use, the toothpaste you brush with, the glasses you may wear... and countless more businesses that you use each and every day, including the Internet Service you are using to access this forum and the company that built the browser you are using, the computer manufacturer and parts you are accessing as well as the Monitor you are looking at to read this, and every business that had a hand in bringing it to you.

ALL OF THESE will see a massive tax increase and guess where that addition in cost will go? Businesses don't pay taxes, they aren't going to absorb the costs... they pass it directly on to the consumer.

They are going to raise prices, reduce benefits, lay off workers, reduce customer service, limit warranties and much, much more.

So don't think for a second you are unaffected by Obama's tax hikes. Don't think that for a second. You will and every aspect of your life will be. Do you have a retirement account? If you do, you are lucky to get an EXTRA portion of Obama's tax increases.

So fine, you disagree with a lot of Bush's decisions. Fine, I can respect that... I don't agree with a lot of his choices either.

But regardless of my anger and frustration, I'm not at all interested in jumping head first into a pit full of spikes just to prove I'm angry at Bush, because Bush isn't on the Ballot.

You would do well to note that and to consider a picture bigger than your admittedly hopeless prognosis on life. I believe you have more opportunity that apparently, YOU do and I believe that Obama is doing everything in his power to keep you right where you are: Hopeless, complacent and unmotivated. A dedicated Democrat Dependent for the rest of your life, content with your place suckling at the Government Teat.

Ironically, this elections IS about you. Strange though, that I want more for you that YOU do.
